The game crashes as soon as I launch it /:
Uninstall Game, then reinstall but this time try FLT crack option instead of Codex, this worked for me, now my game is running. After game starts running you just need to wait for Shaders to be created properly. If game screen does not fit your monitoir screen just change to borderless window or window instead of fullscreen.
i use codex/rune, yet is fine and running perfectly
I managed to get it to work,
I just added SHf.exe as non steam game, selected proton experimental and as used -savetouserdir as launch command.
Then it just wanted to install the UE redist files and booted without issue afterwards.
Just got ingame a few minutes ago.
Yep both work, but now i notice that if a set my graphics to high preset then quit the game, game never runs.
So what i am doing is that everytime i finish playing i need to set graphic preset to Low before quiting to Desktop, that way game always run.
If i wanna play, once the game is loaded i change presets to high again to play, then after finish playing i repeat same process changing preset graphics to Low before quiting the game.
Hope this works for someone! :D
I discovered this when trying to launch it from a separate duplicate shortcut. MAKE SURE THAT -savetouserdir IS AT THE END OF THE SHORTCUT COMMAND PATH (right click shortcut -> properties if on the desktop. If on the start menu, right click -> open file location, in the new window right click shortcut file -> properties)

No matter what crack version I install, FLT or Codex, my game crashes right after I start it, do I need to update my GPU drivers? I have an RTX 3060 12GB.
for sure ya have to update gpu drivers mate.
Found a fix? I have the same issue and install fresh new gpu driver with DDU.

Go to Silent Hill f files/SHf/Binaries/Win64
Here, make a shortcut of “SHf-Win64-Shipping”, then go to Properties of the shortcut, her there is the link of the shortcut in target (“SHf\Binaries\Win64\SHf-Win64-Shipping.exe”)
To the link, add -savetouserdir with a space between like this:
“SHf\Binaries\Win64\SHf-Win64-Shipping.exe” -savetouserdir

Damn game. unlock true ending require 3 playthough. I’m full time job and don’t have time for any another run. this apply to all video games for me. it took me 3 days to complete first run on part time video game basis.

When I open the game, the play option doesn’t appear for me, only the menu to view the designs and listen to the music. Nothing else besides that and the typical options. This is the second time this has happened to me.
